I’ve never been a person who likes making predictions. I don’t like making guesses, I don’t like predictions, and there’s no way I’m betting unless I know I’m going to win, because I straight-up 100% hate being wrong. (What? Me wrong? Never!!)
The entire time I’ve been a sports blogger, I’ve tried to stay away from predictions. Everyone makes picks and predictions, and I do too, I just kept them to myself, or I added a caveat in case I was wrong. Predictions are hard because you just don’t know and also, in my case, because I can see one side, and then the other, and then another point, and then another, and then I don’t have any idea what I think.
When I joined the ACC blogging team at CollegeFootballNews though, making predictions was part of the deal. And not just any run-of-the-mill, cavalier predictions. We’re talking Bold Predictions.
It was definitely an assignment that was out of my comfort zone, one that I spent a lot of time researching and brainstorming to try to get it right before I gave up and decided to be really bold and not care if it was right or wrong.
And it paid off, because NC State’s Scout.com site, PackPride, published my second Bold Prediction on their site today. Whoooooo hoooooooooo. Read it!

I’m not the only one who had interesting thoughts on what might happen in the upcoming season. Check out everything the ACC Bloggers had to say on CFN:
